Hard work, determination, and a great momager might be the secret to Polo G’s success! We’re only a few months into 2021, but he has already shown his fans why they should continue calling him the GOAT! Today, it was announced that his latest single, “Rapstar,” had knocked out Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak’s song “Leave The Door Open” out of the number one spot, securing his first number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart!
Polo shared a few tweets in disbelief of the good news. He tweeted, “#1 song On the billboard Charts. Thank you, God & Everybody, for supporting me. This s**t doesn’t even feel real. Naw like gang, I really just went #1 wtf.” Fellow rappers Dreezy and NLE Choppa took to Twitter to celebrate the accomplishment by tweeting GOAT emoji’s which Polo reposted. Polo has been grinding for a while and has been very open about his past before becoming a rap superstar. In addition to the tweets, he made a lengthy post on Instagram, speaking about how he manifested this moment just months before it happened on February 10th.
Polo shared a note on his Instagram account with, “Positive affirmations.” Now he didn’t share everything, and it might be because some people don’t believe in speaking on things until they happen, but he did show that he manifested having a number one song on Billboard’s hot 100 charts. He captioned the post, “It’s Crazy I really Manifested this s**t. I got a long list of goals I’m going to be scratching off just this year alone. Only 52 ppl ever debuted @ #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 & I’m part of that group. You can’t tell me I ain’t chosen. I done really beat the odds fr.” He continued, “From a place where ni***s like me be the 1st to die, who woulda thought I’ll go #1. Thank y’all, Man. I can’t stress that enough.
